I was was the June meetup run by StreetPass New York City at Nintendo World yesterday. I had quite a nice time.
Heard about this event mainly from gamer who were on the line with me for the Zelda 3D launch last weekend. It looked interesting so I went back to the store yesterday. Not only did I get to exchange 3DS Street Pass tags, I got to meet a chill with some nice people and shared our love for the 3DS.
StreetPass NYC is planning a July event. Once I find out the date I will let everyone know!
One more thing. If you want to mingle with the StreetPass NYC community online go to StreetPassNYC.ProBoards.com or Facebook.com/StreetPassNYC.
I have made a video for last week’s Zelda launch at Nintendo World. This is pretty much my first attempt at editing a video. Hope everyone likes it!
I was at the Zelda 3DS Launch at Nintendo World. In fact I did an overnighter. It was worth it because my street pass tags skyrocketed and had some good talks on the line. Hope I can do this again for the Star Fox 64 3D launch.
I won’t spoil it for you guys. Just watch.
Sharing this hilarious classic in honor of the long-awaited (understatement) release of Duke Nukem Forever.
No. I don’t plan on getting this game; I just need an excuse to post this video.
I went to Funspot over the weekend and saw one a new machine. One I hope they would have eventually. It was a Neo-Geo MVS! Beside it was a framed poster explaining how it was in a nerdcore music video by Keith Apicary (portrayed by Nathan Barnatt), a gamer who just has the look that says “Ultimate VG Nerd”. I just had to check the video out. This is what I saw.
Of course I played a few games on the MVS and recorded the gameplay. The next video is me playing Mission 1 of Metal Slug 1, the same game and level shown in the video.
Well that’s it for this post. If you want to check out more of Nathan’s work, here are some links below.
Not really video game related but this is funny as hell!
