I have received a complementary Gents Vox Box from Influenster for testing purposes earlier in the Summer. Not that I am done testing the products inside, I will now tell you those products.
Barbasol Shaving Cream and Razor: I have use the Barbasol shaving cream before but it was my first time using the razor. When the shaving cream provides a nice lather for its pricing. The six-blade razor gave me a shave I never would have expected and edging blade is a nice touch.
Frank’s Red Hot Sauce: This hot sauce is the perfect combination of flavor and spice and it goes well with my favorite foods. I would definitely recommend.
Kettle Chips: The potato chips have a unique taste to it. It wasn’t a flurry of salt so that’s a plus.
Bed Hed: I rarely put wax in my hair (or lack thereof) but I like the product. The hold was nice in neat and the mess was minimal.
That’s wraps up my review of the Gents Vox Box! Thank you Influenster for letting me test these products!
Sadly I did not have my heavy-duty camera on me so this was mainly a recap of what happened during the Nintendo Switch launch event at Nintendo New York.
Special thanks to everyone who was there with me!
Have you heard about Captain Nintendo Dude (CND) waiting for the Nintendo Switch a month before the launch at Nintendo New York, and how Triforce from Empire Arcadia helping him out.
Guess who got dragged in?
Mystic, Valor, Royalty, Harmony, and Instinct.
This weekend I went to MAGFest. It’s something I try to do each year. If you have not gone to MAGFest you do know what you are missing. And if you like video game-based music, then you really really need to check this out. Continue reading
On Monday the White House hosted a video game marathon featuring popular gamers both competitive and non-competitive in an effort to promote… Obamacare. And hosted on the Twitch channel “getcovered” no less. Continue reading
Today I read about the video game website Pixel Empire and how people were calling them out for stealing review from other people’s content. The site did not handle the situation at all when they put out a lousy statement posted with a picture of a crying baby.
As a person who has written for many different outlets, Pixel Empire’s attitude when they were exposed was sickening. You can’t just tell people to “work harder” to get noticed while you are building an online presence with stolen content. Without that content, your website is nothing. If I were to stole a car from dealership and get caught, I can’t just say “Oh, think of this as free advertisement.”
Hopefully PE learns from their errors and works on making content by writing their own reviews, or hiring someone write them for you.
So Great Big Story put out a trailer for the latest documentary for Empire Arcadia’s (a team I’m on) Triforce. I you look carefully you me see a familiar face (hint: it’s mine).
